NINA CASPARI
Film Director & Photographer

About Nina
Nina Caspari is a London-based filmmaker working across fiction, experimental film, and video art. Originally from Germany, she discovered her passion for moving images during her Crossmedia Design studies in The Netherlands. With a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Arts and Costume Design, Nina has developed a visually rich and poetic style, blending surreal storytelling with a focus on women’s stories and experiences.

Her work combines distinctive styling with narratives that blend sweetness and eeriness, exploring what’s hidden beneath the surface.
Nina’s films have screened at prestigious festivals, including BAFTA-qualifying Aesthetica and Oscar-qualifying Interfilm.

Alongside her personal projects, she works freelance in filmmaking and creative direction, creating imaginative video and photography across portrait, music, fashion, and fine art.

"Nina’s natural connection and understanding of music is one of the many reasons I love collaborating with her." - NATALYA, singer-songwriter

"Nina is an admirable talent. She is able to visualize what she has in her mind using special and innovative methods. Reality is somewhere. Fantasy will take her anywhere." - Johan Visser, Founder of Idiot Records & Graphic Illustrator

"Nina's directing sensibilities are unique and powerful. I'm a big fan of her ethereal aesthetics and art direction and hauntingly beautiful cinematography. Strong female characters are at the centre of much of her work and she has a strong understanding of commercial content whilst not losing sight of her artistic vision.
She's also, importantly, a really lovely person and a pleasure to work with."
- Kim French, Head of Marketing at Preen, Founder of Edit Girls
